Father's Day #3 - Wednesday KidsCreate

Our creative ventures continued with our Wednesday group, as we once again revived the mosaic paperweight and folded shirt card.

But first, to put ourselves in a Father's Day mood, we began with a reading of the popular children's book Guess How Much I Love You.

Attentively listening
After awing at the sweet story of father-son love between Little and Big Nutbrown Hare, we commenced with our first craft: the mosaic paperweight.

Artfully arranging our mosaics

Here's a sampling of some completed projects. As with the other groups, each mosaic was unique, displaying personal style and flair, but all were colorful and beautiful.

We then industriously continued to our folded shirt cards and put our origami skills to the test. Through a series of near-perfect folds, we transformed our ordinary sheet of paper into a clean, crisp white shirt.
